How To Care For Your New Epoxy Garage Floor
Your epoxy floor is built to last decades. A few simple habits will keep it looking brand new for the long haul.

Epoxy floors are remarkably low-maintenance, but a few simple habits make the difference between a floor that looks new in 10 years and one that doesn't.
Daily & weekly
Soft broom or dust mop weekly. Wipe spills (especially battery acid, brake fluid and petrol) within a few minutes — the topcoat resists them but prolonged contact can dull the gloss.
Monthly
Damp mop with warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid citrus-based or abrasive cleaners which can degrade the topcoat over time.
Long-term
Place mats under car tyres if the vehicle is parked for long periods — hot tyres can soften some topcoats. Re-coat the clear layer every 7–10 years for a floor that effectively never wears out.
